At hospitals, assisted living facilities, or rehabilitation centers there are times when a notary public is needed.

Family members may need documents notarized and need a notary to come to them. We can do that!

A few precautions to remember:

the signer must have a valid unexpired drivers license or state ID
the signer must be able to understand the content and purpose of the document
the signer must sign the document voluntarily and be able to write his or her name without any help from other.
the signer must not be affected by psychoactive substances such as painkillers, drugs, tranquilizers, alcohol etc.
If witnesses are needed, please ensure that the witness is present. A witness must be 18 years or older, of sound mind, and have no interest in the parties.
For the most part; healthcare workers, nurses, aids, and other employees of the facility will not be able to act as a witness. The notary can also not act as a witness.
